I’m Danit Trau, the founder and owner of Sorted Spaces Home Organizing.

And yes, Danit is pronounced “Duh-neat”, so neatness is just about my namesake. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved organizing my room and tidying up my trinkets and doodads. There was something deeply satisfying about knowing where everything belonged—especially my CD collection—and that same feeling continues to fuel my passion for helping others create calm, functional spaces.

I truly believe that the things we keep around us shape how we feel. Clutter can weigh us down, mentally and emotionally. But when we pare back to what we truly need and love, we make space—for clarity, comfort, and joy. It’s my passion to help people experience that shift and reclaim their time, space, and energy.

Sorted Spaces started as a solo venture, but today I’m proud to lead a strong, skilled team of organizing professionals who share my vision and values. We bring a thoughtful, nonjudgmental approach to every project and collaborate closely with clients to create customized, sustainable systems. Whether you’re moving, resetting your space, or just craving a little more order, we’re here to help—together.

A little more about me: I grew up in Marin County (love you, Mt. Tam), lived in San Francisco for a decade after college, and now call the East Bay home. Before launching Sorted Spaces, I spent eight years working my way up in a San Francisco nonprofit, eventually becoming a program director. In 2022, I decided to make a meaningful shift, turning my love of organizing into a full-time career.
